I am sure many those of you who have done the remap have thought the same things. I previously used AMD essex for my TT and I believe they use APR software and was happy with their service and set up but every car is different so would be interested to hear anyone's thoughts. Which remap? APR and REVO seem to be all over the place. Currently my average mpg is sub 20 for sure as in stop start traffic on short runs. A remapped RS3 with aftermarket parts inst going to be as desirable as an RS3 all oem or am I wrong? When my break discs are worn I would consider a brembo set of discs and pads but then the oem factor does have its appeal. ![]() Part of the appeal of the RS3 is it limited numbers. Stage 1 remap or more? do or would the car really benefit from changing inter cooler, intake, exhaust, from what I have read not much in it for stage 1 vs stage 2 etc?Ĥ. Can the car handle it? Breaks, suspension, prop shaft, can they take the extra torque and hp? Has anyone experienced any problems?ģ. Has anyone had any bad/ good experiences they can share with this car or even another car?Ģ. I have a 2013 RS with warranty until 2015, the remap will no doubt invalidate much of the cars components. i already love the car and its way more powerful than anyone needs living in London but if there is more on offer its always so tempting to take it.ġ. In real life I drive about 4K a year commuting to and from work and once in a while may get a chance to let her rip down the 1/4 mile. Why would I consider remapping? Well like so many of us its that need for speed that drives us. i have searched the forums and surprised to find that there hasn't been much in the way of threads relating to remaps (unless someone points me in the right detection).
